◯ Popular due to the revival of 80's and 90's styles. This is an original 1997 US Army BDU jacket.
It's a classic piece sampled by various brands, and in the 21ss season, COMOLI used it as a source (photos 4 and 5).
Issued to various units such as the Army and Navy, it comes in various colors like olive, beige, and camouflage, but this black version was mainly issued to the Army Special Forces and SWAT, and it's a rare model manufactured for only one year in 1997.
The body is made of durable ripstop fabric, which is cotton fabric woven with nylon threads in a grid pattern. It features elbow patches on the areas prone to friction. The fabric is similar to the 4th type Fatigue Jacket.
The size is large/short. It's a rare size, and one of the most popular, along with the Jungle Fatigue.
Although it's a military item, the solid black color gives it a clean image, without the ruggedness of camouflage patterns.
Many civilian versions are available, but this is an original from 1997.
